Portions of Trione-Annadel State Park Reopen

Greetings trail work volunteers -

The Trails Council has been informed by State Park staff that as of Sunday morning, November 5, 2017, the unburned western region's designated trails of Trione-Annadel State Park will open to the public. The trail around Lake Ilsanjo is completely accessible. Channel Drive will be open for all users.

All areas south and east of Lake Ilsanjo and Canyon Trail are closed to all users from all entrances until further notice. Rangers have signed those areas and trails.

Please be aware of dozer fire lines in the opened areas of the park: please do not use these unless they are previously designated trails on the official park map, and please help us by educating public to not use them as "new" trails.  The trail around the lake is affected by dozer lines as well. The restroom at the lake is completely operational and undamaged by fire.

Thanks to everyone for their patience and cooperation.

Trail repair work is coming soon!

And remember to set your clocks back an hour tonight!

Ken Wells, Executive Director
Sonoma County Trails Council

Task Force Productions Fundraiser

On August 13, 2015, a screening of the mountain biking film, "UnReal," was a sold-out success.  The event was organized by a group of social philanthropists under the banner of Task Force Productions, http://taskforceproductions.com/ .  TFP works with like-minded non-profits to raise funds in the most entertaining ways possible; they are determined to put fun in fundraising.  100% of the night's raffle and screening proceeds went to the Sonoma County Trails Council, earmarked for two vital pieces of motorized equipment: a heavy-load hauler called a Canycom and a gravel compactor called a vibro plate.

Thank you Task Force Productions and all who donated their time, money, and exceptional raffle merchandise.
