Greetings Trail Volunteers:
The Sonoma County Trails Council is partnering with the Sonoma County Regional Parks to build new trails at Taylor Mountain Regional Park and at Open Space Preserve.
Our next trail work day planned for Taylor Mountain Regional Park is on Sunday, April 12, 2015 from 9:00 am to around 1:00pm.
This is a great opportunity for you to volunteer and learn about building new trails. We will be working on the Redtail Trail.
9:00am - Meet us at the currently 'under construction' new Taylor Mountain parking area and trailhead just off of Petaluma Hill Road.
- The entrance is South of Yolanda Avenue, just past the Wheeler-Zamaroni Quarry.
- The parking area entrance is marked with orange cones.
- Take care turning into the parking area as it is 'under construction.'
- Meet us at the white SCTC Tool Trailer.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen (or rain gear, depending on conditions). Heavy rain cancels.
No experience necessary, we have tools and trained crew leaders.
