Hi folks -
The weather forecast is only getting worse for trail work (lots of rain) as we approach the weekend, so we are cancelling Saturday's volunteer trail work at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park.
Greetings trail volunteers -
Start the New Year off right and join us on Saturday, January 7 for the first Sonoma County Trails Council volunteer trail work day of the year at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park. From 9am to about 1pm we will continue repairing Vista Trail.
Rain on Saturday cancels the work day.
Meet us at 9am at the white barn (horse trailer parking area) at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park at the end of Adobe Canyon Road (if someone's at the entry booth, tell them you are a volunteer for trail work). We will provide parking passes, tools and Clif bars with beverages and snacks afterwards.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or hiking shoes and (maybe) sunscreen.
No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
My apology for duplicate notices.
Ken Wells, Executive Director
Sonoma County Trails Council
