SCTC Volunteer Appreciation BBQ

Greetings 2017 trail work volunteers -

Here is an additional perk to being a Sonoma County Trails Council Volunteer:

To acknowledge and thank you for stepping up with your time and energy to support our trails in 2017, the Trails Council invites you (and a guest) to join us at our 2017 Volunteer Appreciation BBQ Lunch on Saturday, July 8 from noon to 3.

The location information is reserved for ONLY those who we saw this year. If you have not already received a personal invitation from Ken Wells (SCTC Exec. Director), then please contact us at to be added to the guest list. If we didn't get a chance to see you this year, we hope this nudge will be just what you need to go through with the thought, "You know, I really do want to be a part of the Sonoma County Trails Council Volunteer team."

With the volunteer's help, in the first 6 months of 2017 we have finished the new Garden Trail in Oakmont, an ADA trail at Jack London SHP, made substantial repairs to Canyon Trail in Trione-Annadel SP and continued to rebuild Vista Trail, i.e., the stairway to heaven in Sugarloaf Ridge SP.

To express our thanks, please join for lunch on Saturday, July 8 at 12:00 noon. The Trails Council will offer BBQ burgers (beef, turkey and veggie), salad, Lagunitas, Guayaki, chips, desserts and lots and lots of great trail people.

The deadline to confirm attendance at this fun and friendly event is Thursday, July 6, so reply to to let us know soon if you're coming so we can save you a place.

Ken Wells, Executive Director
