Join the Sonoma County Trails Council and Sonoma County Regional Parks at North Sonoma Mountain Regional Park to remove sloughing and berms and cut back plan intrusions along a newer section of Ridge Trail! All ages are welcome to attend but volunteers must be able to hike several miles with tools. Volunteers under 14 must be accompanied by a responsible adult, and under 18 must have a parent or guardian sign the liability waiver in the morning. Project hours: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM.
On November 3, hundreds of volunteers will join the Bay Area Ridge Trail Council, REI, and our park and non-profit partners for the 11th annual Ridge Trail Day to celebrate and give back to the trail we love!
Volunteers will repair trail tread, build drainage features, remove litter, improve trailside habitats and give the Ridge Trail some TLC! After their hard work volunteers will be able to socialize and have a chance to win great prizes from REI.
Each volunteer must register separately with their own email address. To register a large group, or with any questions, please call the Ridge Trail's volunteer coordinator Tina Cuevas at (415) 561-2595 ext 204 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
Become a new Ridge Trail Council member for $25 or make a donation when you register and get a great piece of commemorative swag on November 3. While supplies last!
Please RSVP via Eventbrite to ensure we have enough tools, snacks and beverages.
