Porterfield Creek Trails Open Space Preserve in Cloverdale

Greetings trail work volunteers -

Join the Trails Council to work on a new trail project at Porterfield Creek Trails Open Space Preserve in Cloverdale on Saturday, November 11, from 9am to about 3pm. 

The Sonoma County Trails Council is pleased to report that we have been hired by the City of Cloverdale to implement their new Trails Plan for the park. On Saturday will be repairing Creekside Trail to reduce erosion and improve the trail.

Meet us at 9am at the upper end of Skyview Drive in Cloverdale. 

Directions to meeting location: 

From all points south of Cloverdale, from 101, take S. Cloverdale Blvd exit (#519), turn right on  S. Cloverdale Blvd., turn left at Del Web Dr., right on Clover Springs Dr., left on Skyview Dr. go to the end and find a place to park on the street.  We will hike about a half mile to the work site from there.

Carpool location from Santa Rosa:  8am at northeast corner of Coddingtown Mall parking lot, west side of Valero gas station. 

We will provide tools, Clif bars with Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards. 

Bring **lunch**, gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen. Poison oak is present so long sleeves are suggested. 

No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
