Please join the Trails Council and Sonoma County Regional Parks to celebrate
National Public Lands Day and continue our work on Fillaree Trail at
Helen Putnam Regional Park on Saturday, September 30, from 9am to about 1pm.
Meet us at 9am at the Helen Putnam RP parking area on Chileno Valley
Road. We will hike about a mile to the work site from there.
Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. We will provide parking passes,
tools, Clif bars with Lagunitas and Guayaki beverages afterwards.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working,
and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen. Poison oak is
present so long sleeves are suggested.
No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with
tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. Those under 18 years
old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In order to make sure we have enough tools and after-work beverages
please reply to email@example.com if you plan to attend.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
