Greetings trail work volunteers -
Please join the Trails Council and the City of Sebastopol and help celebrate National Public Lands Day by volunteering to build a new trail at Tomodachi Park in Sebastopol on Saturday, September 24, from 9am to about 3pm.
Meet us at 9am at Tomodachi Park, 6661 Sebastopol Ave, Sebastopol, CA. This new park is just southwest of the Highway 12 Laguna Bridge (currently under construction), on the left as as you enter Sebastopol from Santa Rosa. Since there is very limited parking at the park, if you drive, public parking is available at The Barlow, turn north onto Morris St., then walk to the park, crossing Highway 12 at the Morris St. intersection.
Look for the white SCTC tool trailer. We will provide tools, lunch and beverages afterwards.
Bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen. Poison oak and berry bushes are present so long sleeves are suggested.
No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers. Those under 18 years old must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
In order to make sure we have enough tools, lunches and after-work beverages please reply to email@example.com if you plan to attend.
If you have any questions, don't hesitate to contact me.
