Special Event 6/4/16-National Trails Day at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park

Greetings trail volunteers -

Celebrate National Trails Day with the Sonoma County Trails Council on Saturday, June 4, from 9am to 1pm at Sugarloaf Ridge State Park to give Hillside Trail some love and attention, with lunch to follow!

This volunteer crew-day will be limited to thirty participants.  Please bring gloves, a hat and water that you can take with you while working, and wear long pants, boots or sturdy shoes and sunscreen.

No experience necessary - we have tools and trained crew leaders with tasks for all strengths and sizes of volunteers.

We will meet at 9am at the parking area at the white barn at the end of the main park road - look for the white Trails Council tool trailer. We will provide parking passes to those who need them.  For this special event, we ask that you reserve your spot at

ALSO...PLEASE SAVE THE DATE - the 2016 Trails Council volunteer appreciation BBQ lunch is Sunday, July 10 at Spring Lake Park.
All volunteers who have worked with the Trails Council in 2016 are invited for lunch and awards.
