A New Project: Riddell Preserve

Greetings trail volunteers -

The Sonoma County Trails Council is excited to announce that we are now working with LandPaths to develop a trail system at their beautiful Riddell Preserve. The Riddell Preserve is 400 acres of open meadows, oak woodlands, and shady redwood dells in the hills west of Healdsburg.

However, before the Trails Council can start marking the exact alignment of the first trail, the trail corridor needs to be cleared of invasive French broom, and there is a lot of it!

Come be a part of a new trail system! LandPaths is leading a trail corridor clearing workday on Friday, February 12th and they could use your help to move this project forward. Work is on steep slopes and requires a moderate-high level of physical fitness.
