Greetings trail volunteers -
The Sonoma County Trails Councilis now working with LandPaths to develop a trail system at their beautiful Riddell Preserve. The Riddell Preserve is 400 acres of open meadows, oak woodlands, and shady redwood dells in the hills west of Healdsburg.
However, before the Trails Council can start marking the exact alignment and help build the first trail, there's about an acre of invasive French broom left to be removed to clear the trail corridor.
Come be a part of a new trail system! LandPaths is leading a trail corridor clearing workday on Wednesday, February 24 and Friday, February 26 and they could use your help to move this project forward.
Work is on steep slopes and requires a moderate-high level of physical fitness. Join us for either or both days.
